At the age of 12, Katya Peters moved with her parents from Russia to Portugal and found herself in an international school where all instruction was in English.
With no knowledge of the language, no mentors, and no outside support — only full immersion in a new culture and school system. Today, three years later, Katya has achieved excellent results, and she shares her experience.
This is an open conversation about moving abroad, adaptation, and motivation — through the eyes of a teenager.
The presenter is Anna Kopylkova, the founder of the All Portugal project.
