Shouldn't we make a theatre?

In the All Portugal podcast we tell the stories of those who have moved. Creating a theatre is not only a creative task, but also a serious business project.

How The Chaika theatre was created, whether it is possible for a relocated actor to build his career again and just about life, we talked to Alexey Dedoborshch.

Alexey Dedoborshch - actor, 42 years old, creator of the Chaika European theatre (together with actor Egor Morozov).

First education - engineer.

Second education - actor of theatre and cinema at GITIS. Additional education - actor of musical theatre.

More than 25 works from them 9 main roles.

The main project now is the Chaika theatre. Their first performance took place in September 2023. The Chaika theatre is created for Russian-speaking emigrants so that they can experience the atmosphere of high theatre art even while abroad.
