Researchers in the UK have found that physical activity could mitigate some side effects of cancer treatment, such as brain fog and nerve damage.

Data from randomised controlled trial results between 2012 and 2024 were systematically analysed, revealing that exercise not only reduced adverse effects of cancer treatment, but also improved psychological wellbeing and overall quality of life.

In conclusion, this study reinforces the efficacy of incorporating physical activity into cancer treatment protocols, but every patient has their own journey and circumstances, so there’s no one-size-fits-all workout plan.
